I did the workout tonight at my gym. Let me just say, this is not for wienies. It's deceiving on paper, don't let it fool you. The workout is designed in 4 zones: Strength, Transition, Burn and Metabolic. You do them in that order. The Transition zone is nice in that it makes you think you're going to get a break, but the upper body work doesn't let up. By the Burn zone you will be coming up with foul words to describe it. Expect the Metabolic Zone to finish you off. All I can say is thank goodness for the 90 seconds of recovery.
I loved the Zone concept and my face is actually still a little red. The only way I know to describe it is that it's one of those workouts that makes you think if you're not burning fat now, nothing will.
I'm anxious to see if we get any more teasers before the whole program is released. I'll be waiting in line to get it. Alwyn Cosgrove and Mike Roussell have become quite a pair and deliver a mean program. As good as the first one is, I'm thinking this one is definitely going to be a new and improved version.
I'll continue to post and will be sure to let you know of any other releases.

Hey Smoke, glad you are doing it! You're so conditioned I'm sure you'll have gas left in the tank, but I remember from the first program it gets harder and very many of these over a 4 wk period gets tough! Also, maybe I'm just lifting better but there's something about going from a heavy 4-6 rep to metabolic that is hard! Make sure the one you printed goes to 8-12 reps on the rows on the transition phase. Mine had a typo and I did 4-6 reps on the transition phase for rows (which ended up totaling 6 sets that heavy for the workout, ouch!). They have since corrected it! Have a good weekend! K
Thanks for posting this Kelley!
I downloaded the workout earlier this afternoon. Have to take a good look at it tomorrow...
Nice post!
Fred
Hey Fred! Glad you are going to check it out, can't wait to hear your thoughts. I like how it progresses, hope all the workouts are designed similarly!
Alrighty then KM, I did this on Sunday are the results can be found below (for one easy payment of $19.95).
* Solid session
* the only difficulty was in selecting the proper amount of weight to push
* quick workout that can be altered for anyone
* I'm sore today (squats and the 3 mile run I did after the workout)
* I love the incorporation of Low Rep Strength, High Rep Endurance, The Tweener Zone, and an Interval-like BW Circuit.
Score: I give it a solid 94/100 (although the single-leg burpees are worth an exta 10pts on any workout)
Even though Day 1 is the only free-bee from AC, I'm going to create a Day 2 using this system. Great workout!

Yea Mike! I love your comments and analysis. I too find it challenging choosing a wt. I'm trying to record my wts now on everything to stay consistent w/progrssion but this is a little trickier. Agree w/the 1 leg burpee bonus points - I was really awkward w/that and 2 leg burpees are enough to color my language. Please post about what you come up w/for a workout 2!
After looking/doing this workout one time, I've come to the following conclusion (AC won't like me after this)...
Warp Speed 2.0 is quite similar to day 3 of Craig Ballantyne's "Big 5 For Fat Loss". Different enough to make it much better. Similar enough for me to modify the Big 5 into a (ever-so-slightly) bastardized version of WS2.0.
Take a look and let me know if I'm that far off the beaten path.

ps. Global Warming can be easily traced back to Chuck Norris and a can of baked beans.
that one is a Blowfish original..a gift from me to Jimmy
Hey Mike, very interesting, I will go back and look at the Big 5 to check it out. You bring up a good point in terms of modifying any of them: in a structured program such as WSFL or TT, etc. I think the ultimate is when you use a program for just that, the structure when you need it, but that you take it a step further and learn how to modify it and continuing using the concepts that work. In fact, I think that's something I will be sure to point out. Structure is fine for the amount of time it's intended, but the point is to learn from it and be able to function beyond it!
I WILL be passing on the Chuck Norris fact to Jimmy, he'll love it!!!
